EB2 White weeks (Winter only)

Lessons of ski waxing, in- and off-trails ski, ice climbing and excursions with snowshoes. Typical lunch with polenta taragna (Corn pie with cheese) available.

EE1 Ecologic Education in Taleggio Valley (April thru June)

Excursions in ancient villages and in the woodlands to discover flowers and wildlife, lessons of beekeeping and cheese making techniques.

EE2 Meet the alpine goat.

Practical works in a prealpine farm. Demo of the full cycle of the goat cheese making technique, starting from the live stock breeding, going through the milking and the curdling, up to the stocking and the ripening.

EE3 The Cold Valley (May, June and July only)

A very small natural area, situated 360 m a.s.l., where, thanks to underground air streams, plants and flowers typical of the high alpine habitat grow. Luckily, one can found and observe the edelweiss, normally not growing under 1.700 m a.s.l.

EE4 The Plain: The Natural Forest of the River Oglio (April, May and June only)

Three hours hike on the canals’ and the River Oglio banks. The trail allows the hikers to see the oak-trees and the poplars, and many other species of the native brushwood. Aside of the nature, it will be possible to visit the village of Pumenengo, with the Barbò Manor (XIV Century), the old mill and the church. The itinerary may include a stop in a picnic area equipped with gaming courts.

EE5 The Plain: The River Serio

Three hours hike from Ghisalba to Cavernago, walking on the River Serio banks. The trail allows the hiker to live the fascination that the river offers in this short stretch spotted with small isles. Aside of the large grain fields, it will be possible to visit the village of Ghisalba, with the church of Cagnola, and the castles of Colleoni Family of Malpaga and Cavernago. The itinerary may include a picnic on the riverbank.

CV1 The slate quarries in Branzi

Visit to the quarries and to the shops of the piodér (slate workers). Typical lunch with polenta taragna (Corn pie with cheese) available.

MU1 Museum of the Valley in Zogno

Featuring pieces of furniture, puppets and watches collections, objects and tools of the people

MU2 Museum of Natural Sciences of S. Pellegrino Terme

Featuring the famous fossil stones dating back to Triassic era, collected in Endenna in 1978. A visit to the S. Pellegrino Mineral Water bottling plant is possible.

MU3 The Hammersmith Museum of Ponte Nossa

Located on the river Nossa, the shortest river of Italy (only 500 m long) the Big Hammer remembers the past time works of iron casting.

MU4 Museum of the Mines of Oltre il Colle

Visit to the sections of the museum displaying the mineral stones and the mine working tools. Visit to one stretch of mine tunnels dug into the Mount Arera.

MU5 The Camunes at Capo di Ponte

Visit of the National Park of the Rocky Engravings of Naquane, featuring rocks engraved since V millennium B.C. with anthropomorphic animals, maps, mazes, ritual scenes and the famous Camun Rose, the emblem of the Lombardy.
