Afternoon visit of the region of Oltrepò (that means beyond the river Po), the southern part of the province. Brescia and the monastery of Rodengo Saiano (full day with lunch, all days):

Afternoon visit to Rodengo Saiano, to visit the Benedictine monastery Charlemagne has founded, according to a legend.

To see the fine cloisters of the XVI Century, the big sundial of the early XVII Century, the refectory with the large frescoed Crucifixion, the Hall with the frescoes of Romanino, the church, with the frescoes of XVIII Century, the chorus with inlaid wood works dating back to the late XV Century, the frescoed sacristy.

Capo di Ponte and Edolo (full day with lunch, all days except Mondays): Visit of Capo di Ponte with the parish church of St. Siro in Cemmo and the National Park of the Rocky Engravings of Naquane, featuring rocks engraved since V millenium b.C. with antropomorph animals, mazes, ritual scenes and the famous Camun Rose, the emblem of the Lombardy. A little while northwards, visit of Edolo with the nice centre, the high bridge on the river Oglio, the churches of S. John the Baptist (early ‘500), St. Sebastian (1641) and St. Clement.

We can see the collections and the relics of the poet, the open air theatre (the Parlaggio), the ship Puglia, the botanical garden.

Gardaland (full day with lunch, all days. Closed October thru April): Theme Park for adults and children, the second largest in Europe after Disneyland in Paris. The park features unique attractions such as Jungle Rapids, Space Vertigo, Blue Tornado, Ikarus, the Village of Elves, the Valley of the Kings,... The park houses many restaurants, snack bars and buffet-bars.

St. Moritz and Berninapass (full day with lunch, all days - valid ID requested to entry Swiss border): The Retic Regional Railways train leaves Tirano and goes through an impressive way up to the Berninapass, climbing very steep slopes on racked tracks and spiralled tunnels. Going downhill to St. Moritz plain, the landscape is unique: no other vehicle can actually drive the tourist to these points of observation. In St. Moritz tour of the city and time for strolling and shopping. Return by motorcoach through the Chiavenna Valley.
